Today at Home Care 100, CareConnect announced major advancements to its Workforce Operating System, marking a significant evolution in its mission to ensure the right caregiver is in the right place at the right time.

“We’re proud to evolve the next generation of our Workforce Operating System, which represents the next chapter of CareConnect’s mission to ensure the right caregiver is in the right place at the right time—for all,” said Matt McGinty, CEO of CareConnect.

“Agencies are overwhelmed by workforce shortages, manual processes, rising costs, and increasing demand for care without additional reimbursement. We have expanded CaregiverChoice, our AI scheduling platform, to include AI chatbots for caregivers and coordinators.”

McGinty explained that these enhancements allow care coordinators and schedulers to focus on improving patient care rather than repetitive, low-value administrative tasks. The update also reduces app fatigue for caregivers by simplifying schedule management.

“This makes the process of caregivers managing their schedules quicker and with less app fatigue,” McGinty added. “Finally, we have commercially released CareCommunity, which helps agencies build caregiver pools and share the cost of compliance to drive down operating expenses.”

CaregiverChoice 2.0: AI-Driven Scheduling at Scale

CaregiverChoice 2.0, the next generation of CareConnect’s scheduling platform, leverages ShiftMatch.ai to automate scheduling through AI-powered caregiver chatbots, care coordinator chatbots, auto-dialers, and a full suite of intelligent tools.

These capabilities enable coordinators to prioritize relationships with caregivers and patients instead of spending time on repeatable, manual scheduling workflows. Caregivers can interact with chatbots via text or voice and get scheduled without navigating multiple apps or platforms.

Built on the same AI foundation, CareConnect is also launching Predictive Authorization Analytics. This feature uses scheduling and hiring efficiency data to help agencies predict their ability to fill authorized payer cases before accepting them—protecting both outcomes and margins.

The platform can also forecast care plan completion and identify future hiring needs well in advance, giving agencies greater operational visibility and control.

To expand access to CaregiverChoice 2.0, CareConnect is introducing performance-based pricing for small and mid-sized agencies, enabling organizations of all sizes to benefit from its AI-driven capabilities across all fifty states.

CareCommunity: A New Model for Workforce Collaboration

CareCommunity is a first-of-its-kind platform licensed directly to agencies, allowing them to build, manage, and retain compliant caregiver pools while intelligently sharing caregivers with trusted partner agencies.

The platform includes business rules and billing controls that give agencies greater oversight of workforce movement within their markets. Agencies that choose to share idle caregiver or clinician capacity can generate fees in return—turning unused workforce capacity into a new revenue stream to offset rising compliance costs.

In addition, CareCommunity now offers commercially available AI tools for recruiting, credentialing, and compliance of home-based care workers. These tools significantly accelerate time-to-hire and eliminate manual follow-up tasks such as chasing applicants and collecting documentation.

Agencies can access these AI hiring and compliance tools independently, even without fully adopting the CareCommunity platform, helping them improve efficiency and scale faster in a challenging labor market.
