Canva Expands Its Productivity Bet With 100+ Visual Suite Upgrades
Canva, the visual communication platform used by hundreds of millions of people, has quietly become one of the world's most widely used productivity suites — with more than 100 million people using Canva Presentations each month and Canva Docs adoption more than tripling over the past three years.
The company is now doubling down on that productivity bet. Its latest releases push Canva past 100 new feature launches across Docs, Presentations, Sheets, Whiteboards, and Video since the start of 2026 — a pace of nearly one upgrade every other day, collectively delivering more than 55,000 requests from the Canva community. More than one billion designs are now created on the platform every month.
"When we launched the Visual Suite, we were planting the seeds for a very different way of working, and a few years later those seeds have grown into a mighty forest. We still feel like we're only 1% of the way there, and we're just getting started."
— Cameron Adams, Co-Founder & Chief Product Officer, CanvaOne Platform for the Whole Project
Most productivity suites still treat a whiteboard, document, spreadsheet, and presentation as separate files. As organizations look to cut software sprawl, Canva is seeing growing demand for a single platform to run entire projects. An idea can start on a Whiteboard, become a brief in Docs, pull insights from Sheets, and evolve into a Presentation — all within the same design, using the same interface and real-time collaboration.
The scale of workplace adoption is notable. More than 98% of the Fortune 500 now run work on Canva, with enterprise adoption more than doubling year over year. Docs has become Canva's third-most popular design type, with nearly 1,000 documents created every minute, while Presentations — its fastest-growing format — sees nearly 3,000 created every minute.
"Canva has become the globally distributed source of truth for our self-serve design system. Our small design team can now focus on building and evolving the system, not designing every pixel."
— Corey Pomkoski, Senior Director, Brand & Creative Operations, DocuSignWhat's New Across the Visual Suite
Docs gains full-page, edge-to-edge visual layouts, automatic page breaks, and expanded styling that turn a working document into a presentation-ready one. Sheets receives more than a dozen updates, including new AI capabilities that can analyze data and transform it into polished charts and tables ready to reuse across Presentations and Docs, plus public filters, hidden columns, and grouped rows for tighter control over what gets shared.
Whiteboards are faster and more interactive, with streamlined panning, Follow Collaborators, one-click reactions, and one-click conversion into a Doc or Presentation. Presentations add an estimated presenting timer, one-click presenting, and automatically generated presenter notes. Websites — now published at a rate of nearly one million a month — support up to 20 sections, richer SEO and domain controls, with more than six million coded sites built to date via Canva Code. All features are available globally now.
