Employee hardship program now covers staff and consultants in Canada, Colombia, India, Mexico, the Philippines and the UK
ATLANTA, Sept. 29, 2026 — The IGFF, a foundation that provides financial assistance to employees and consultants facing unexpected hardships, has been extended to six additional countries: Canada, Colombia, India, Mexico, the Philippines and the United Kingdom.
The expansion is tied to the company's "We Take Care of Each Other" shared value and supports its growing international presence. The foundation was established in 2020 and until now served only eligible U.S. employees and consultants.
The expansion took effect this summer, and the first international grant was awarded earlier this month. The first international recipient said they hoped to stand beside others in difficult situations the way the company stood beside them.
A senior communications and benefits executive said the move is meant to show that employees will have support wherever they work, particularly in moments of unpredictable hardship.
How it works abroad
Grants to international applicants are issued by local affiliated entities rather than the U.S.-based foundation, which is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Since 2020 the foundation has given out more than $4.4 million to 890 employees.
