MRPC, which serves the medical device, life sciences and bioprocessing markets, has appointed Sarah Buelow as Vice President, Human Resources. She will take on senior people leadership responsibilities at the company.
Buelow has built her career in strategic HR leadership, with a focus on manufacturing environments. Her experience covers organisational development, workforce planning, leadership development, labour relations, M&A integration and business transformation.
She joins MRPC from Woodward, where she was Human Resources Director supporting a global business in the aerospace and industrial equipment markets. Before that, she was Global Director HR for Operations, Supply Chain, Finance and Quality at Kerry. In that role she worked with senior leaders across global operations and directed HR strategy across multiple sites and functions. Her work there included organisational transformation, talent retention, succession planning and leadership development. She also led HR due diligence for a major acquisition and supported acquisition integrations across several regions, and she helped design and roll out new operating models and leadership programmes.
Earlier in her career, Buelow was Regional Director of Human Resources for Operations at Bemis Company, now part of Amcor. There she led HR strategy across manufacturing operations, covering performance management, succession planning, recruitment, employee engagement, workforce planning, organisational redesign and labour relations. At Johnson Controls she held HR leadership roles supporting manufacturing, enterprise transformation and corporate functions, including work tied to global integration and SAP-enabled business change.
She also has direct medical device experience. As Director of Human Resources at Vesta, a medical device manufacturer now part of Lubrizol, she led HR and safety strategy, with a focus on succession and workforce planning, performance management and employee engagement. She held HR leadership responsibilities at Kemps as well, and has taught as an adjunct professor at Cardinal Stritch University. Her courses there included human resources, business law, negotiations and conflict resolution, and business ethics.
Her appointment gives MRPC a leader with depth in manufacturing HR, talent management, organisational design and business transformation, alongside prior HR leadership in medical device manufacturing.
