Former Boston Consulting Group executive brings nearly 20 years of HR and operations experience to lead people strategy during a pivotal growth phase.
Judi Health, the enterprise health technology company and full-service benefits administrator and parent company of transparent pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) Capital Rx, has announced the appointment of Sara Bunn as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).
Bunn joins Judi Health’s executive leadership team with nearly 20 years of human resources and operations experience. Most recently, she served as an Executive Director at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where she held senior leadership roles supporting workforce strategy and organizational development across multiple regions.
Leading People Strategy Through Rapid Expansion
In her new role, Bunn will oversee Judi Health’s end-to-end people operations, including talent acquisition, performance management, compensation and benefits, workforce development, employee relations, and corporate culture. Her mandate is to build a modern, scalable people architecture that supports Judi Health’s rapid national growth.
Her appointment comes at a critical moment for the company, following a recent $400 million investment and Series F funding round, as demand accelerates for transparent, technology-driven pharmacy and health benefit solutions across the United States.
“Sara is an incredible addition to our leadership team as we evolve from being a national leader in benefit administration into a world-class technology company,” said AJ Loiacono, co-founder and CEO of Judi Health. “As we continue to scale, the sophistication of our benefits programs and our ability to develop a high-performing employee experience are critical to our growth.”
Supporting a Growing National Workforce
Judi Health’s workforce has tripled since the beginning of 2024, with continued national expansion underway. The company has opened new offices in Denver and Charlotte and is actively recruiting across a wide range of roles, including pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, engineers, developers, product and marketing professionals, and client and member support teams.
Bunn will partner closely with executive leadership to strengthen organizational design, elevate the employee experience, and ensure Judi Health can recruit and retain elite talent as it scales its proprietary Judi® enterprise health platform to support tens of millions of Americans across commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid plans.
“I’m honored and excited to join Judi Health’s mission at this stage of the company’s growth,” Bunn said. “The leadership team is inspiring, and we have an incredible foundation to build on with the Judi platform powering our solutions. It’s time to take professionalization and support for our increasingly diverse workforce to the next level as we disrupt traditional benefits business models.”
Deep Experience in Workforce Strategy and Operations
At Boston Consulting Group, Bunn served as Executive Director of Business Management for the firm’s West system, partnering with senior leadership across six offices. Her responsibilities included talent deployment, workforce planning, operational priorities, leadership communications, and regional culture initiatives.
