Kyndryl Announces CHRO Transition as Maryjo Charbonnier Retires

Kyndryl (NYSE: KD), a leading provider of mission-critical enterprise technology services, today announced that Chief Human Resources Officer Maryjo Charbonnier plans to retire following an impactful tenure since the company’s inception and nearly two decades of service as a public-company CHRO.

Charbonnier will retire from her role on March 31 and will remain with Kyndryl as an Executive Advisor through the end of August. She will be succeeded by Mark Paulek, who will assume the role of CHRO effective April 1.

Mark Paulek Named Incoming CHRO

Since joining Kyndryl in 2022, Paulek has played a pivotal role in shaping and executing the company’s human capital strategy. He has led human resources for Kyndryl’s commercial organization, helping transform the business for growth across Countries, Practices, Kyndryl Consult, and Delivery.

His appointment reflects Kyndryl’s strong leadership bench and continued emphasis on talent development and succession planning as key drivers of growth.
