Lakeside Software Named ISG Leader for DEX and AI-Enabled End-User Computing Solutions 2026
Lakeside Software, the digital employee experience (DEX) engineering company, has been recognised as a Leader in two categories of Information Services Group's 2026 Provider Lens™ Future of Work — Solutions Report. The dual placement covers Digital Employee Experience (DEX) Solutions and AI-Enabled End-User Computing Solutions, and marks the fourth consecutive year the company has earned the distinction. ISG assessed 24 vendors worldwide for the study.
The evaluation points to the combined capability of the SysTrack platform and SysTrack AI — the company's agentic reasoning engine, built to produce explainable root-cause analysis and carry out autonomous remediation across enterprise IT estates.
"IT teams need more than visibility; they need trusted, explainable insights."
— Mike Schumacher, CEO, Lakeside SoftwareSchumacher framed the recognition as validation of the engineering effort behind SysTrack AI, adding that the goal is to serve employees regardless of where or how they work — a point that lands squarely in the middle of the hybrid-work conversation now shaping HR and IT strategy alike.
What Earned the DEX Leadership Position
Operationalising DEX at scale. The agentic reasoning layer interprets experience issues and proposes evidence-based fixes, cutting resolution time and manual triage work.
Persona-based automation. Broader remediation workflows and role-specific experiences — including SysTrack Mobile — push real-time DEX analytics out to distributed and hybrid workforces.
Ecosystem depth. Expanded ITSM, collaboration and endpoint integrations embed experience intelligence directly into day-to-day operational workflows.
Telemetry foundation. SysTrack captures more than 10,000 data points every 15 seconds, which underpins its baselining and predictive read on device health, productivity and workplace performance.
"Lakeside Software leads in DEX solutions with outstanding endpoint telemetry…"
— Bruce Guptill, ISG Analyst and AdviserThe AI-Enabled End-User Computing Case
In the second category, ISG credited the platform's evidence-based agentic diagnostics: SysTrack AI correlates cause and effect across millions of signals, drawing on two decades of endpoint telemetry to produce explainable root-cause analysis and prescriptive remediation rather than raw alerts.
Shift-left capability featured heavily too. Conversational diagnostics and guided self-healing allow L1 service desk staff and employees themselves to close out complex issues without escalation — a direct lever on support cost and on the everyday friction employees report.
On integration, strengthened connections with ServiceNow, Microsoft, Citrix and VMware, alongside Azure collaboration, were cited as enabling governed automation and enterprise-scale AI governance. ISG also flagged sustained platform momentum: continued investment in AI, telemetry and workflow integration supporting more resilient end-user computing operations.
The award follows a run of recent milestones. In June, the company launched SysTrack Reliability Engineering (SRE), extending the platform with a service level objective-driven model that applies site reliability engineering principles to end-user computing. Lakeside was also named to TIME's America's Top WorkTech Companies of 2026, and its SysTrack platform scales to estates exceeding one million physical and virtual workspaces.
Dual Leader placement. Lakeside Software was named a Leader in both DEX Solutions and AI-Enabled End-User Computing Solutions in ISG's 2026 Provider Lens™ Future of Work report — its fourth straight year, from a field of 24 vendors.
Agentic AI at the centre. SysTrack AI's reasoning engine delivers explainable root-cause analysis and autonomous remediation, correlating signals across two decades of endpoint telemetry.
Telemetry depth drives the score. SysTrack captures over 10,000 data points every 15 seconds, enabling predictive insight into device health and workplace productivity.
Shift-left support model. Conversational diagnostics and guided self-healing let L1 teams and employees resolve issues without escalation, reducing ticket volume and downtime.
Momentum beyond the award. June's launch of SysTrack Reliability Engineering brought SLO-driven site reliability principles to end-user computing, alongside a TIME WorkTech listing for 2026.
