Salary.com Wins Top Workplaces Culture Excellence Award for Innovation 2026
Salary.com announced that it is a 2026 Top Workplaces Culture Excellence winner in three categories — Professional Development, Work-Life Flexibility, and Innovation. The awards are issued by Energage, a purpose-driven organization that develops solutions to build and brand Top Workplaces.
The Top Workplaces program carries a 19-year history of surveying and celebrating people-first organizations nationally and across 60 regional markets. Culture Excellence awards recognize companies that excel in specific areas of workplace culture, with winners determined by confidential employee feedback.
"What makes these three awards meaningful is that our employees decided them. Labor Day weekend is when a lot of people step back and take stock of what they get in return for their work. We're honored our employees celebrate where we are getting that balance right, and where to keep pushing."
— Amy Dwyer, Chief Human Resources Officer, Salary.comThree Awards, Decided by Employees
Each recognition reflects a distinct theme. The Professional Development award celebrates organizations that invest in the growth of their people and give employees a clear path to build new skills and advance their careers. The Work-Life Flexibility award celebrates companies that support employees in their lives outside of work and give people the flexibility to manage both.
The Innovation award celebrates organizations that have embedded innovation into their culture and create an environment where new ideas come from all employees. Winners are determined through the Energage Workplace Survey, which measures 15 culture drivers that research has shown to be predictive of organizational performance, benchmarked against a national database of employer responses.
"While we advocate that pay is the foundation of work, a foundation is something you build upon by ensuring people feel they can grow, take time away, or speak up with a new idea. It's the complete package that helps build a strong and sustainable business."
