Viatris Inc. (Nasdaq: VTRS) announced today that Lara Ramsburg has been appointed Chief People and Corporate Affairs Officer. As part of Viatris’ ongoing transformation efforts, this newly combined role is designed to further advance the company’s culture and global connectivity while strengthening alignment between internal and external stakeholder communications.

Ramsburg is a highly accomplished leader with more than 25 years of experience building and leading cross-functional teams that deliver meaningful business results. She is also a respected strategic communicator, known for purpose-driven messaging that helps organizations achieve objectives and foster strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Extensive Leadership Experience at Viatris

During her tenure at Viatris and its legacy company, Mylan, Ramsburg has held several senior leadership roles, including serving in the Office of the CEO and as Head of Integration. Since 2019, she has led the Corporate Affairs organization, where she has played a key role in strengthening the company’s reputation, advancing policy priorities, and driving sustainability initiatives.

In her expanded role, Ramsburg will now also oversee global talent management, total rewards, employee experience, people solutions, and HR business partner teams—bringing people strategy and corporate affairs together under unified leadership.

Educational Background

Ramsburg earned a Bachelor of Science degree in communication from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, and a Master of Science degree in corporate and professional communication from Radford University in Radford, Virginia.
