SAN MATEO, Calif., Sept 30, 2026: Yellow.ai has launched Nexus EDGE, an agentic desktop application that brings its Nexus Universal Agentic Interface directly to an employee's computer. The company says the tool resolves IT, HR and operations issues itself, rather than finding an answer and handing the work back to the employee.

Nexus EDGE runs on the actual machine, in real time, and only within the role-based permissions the employee already holds. It pairs a cloud "reasoning brain," the Nexus Agent, with a local agent on the desktop. The local agent reads the live screen and application state using built-in computer-use capability and operating-system-level tools. It reasons over the company's knowledge base, standard operating procedures and backend enterprise applications. When a fix is needed, it pulls the current remediation from the Nexus Agent and runs it locally.

Security: Every action is scoped to the access controls of the signed-in user. The company says the tool acts as that employee and never beyond their permissions. This gives security teams auditable automation without privilege escalation.

Claimed results: In early deployments, Yellow.ai says Nexus EDGE aims to resolve common employee issues on the device without a ticket. It also aims to cut level-1 ticket volume for IT and HR teams and return several hours per employee each year to productive work.

The launch creates a category Yellow.ai calls Employee Experience Automation, extending agentic AI from customer experience into the daily work of knowledge workers.

"For a decade, employee help tools have competed on how fast they can answer a question," said Raghu, Yellow.ai's co-founder and CEO. Co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer Rashid Khan said the product does for people inside the enterprise what Nexus did for customer conversations.
