CData Unveils Accelerator to Supercharge Microsoft Fabric Data Integration
CData Software, a leading provider of data connectivity solutions, has announced the launch of its Microsoft Fabric Integration Accelerator at the Microsoft Fabric Community Conference. This powerful set of tools is designed to streamline and expedite integration between Microsoft Fabric and over 270 external data sources.
The Integration Accelerator empowers businesses to fully realize their Microsoft Fabric investments by enabling seamless connectivity with systems like SAP, Workday, Salesforce, and many more. With this new offering, CData aims to eliminate the time-consuming hurdles of external data integration that often delay enterprise transformation efforts.
“Organizations implementing Microsoft Fabric face critical data integration challenges for data residing outside of the Microsoft ecosystem that can significantly delay their time-to-value,” said Manish Patel, Chief Product Officer at CData. “Our Microsoft Fabric Integration Accelerator addresses these challenges head-on, enabling customers to more quickly access and integrate disparate data within their Microsoft Fabric environment in a matter of days rather than months.”
The Integration Accelerator is composed of three specialized toolkits:
- OneLake/Warehouse Build Toolkit: Enables point-and-click data ingestion with Change Data Capture (CDC) into OneLake and SQL Data Warehouse from 270+ sources. It supports Fabric Dataflow Gen 2 for real-time data access.
- Power BI Live Connectivity Toolkit: Provides direct, live connectivity from Power BI to virtually any application, data store, or query engine. Pre-built data models eliminate the need for manual preparation of complex data sources.
- Azure Data Factory Extension Toolkit: Extends Azure Data Factory capabilities to non-native Microsoft sources with a unified SQL data model, eliminating the need for custom code in API integrations.
Ben Lehrer, CEO of First Water, highlighted the impact of the solution: “The CData OneLake Toolkit checked all the boxes for Fabric integration. CData offers the connector set, underlying source data availability, structured replication engine, and flexibility we sought in seeking a cost-effective ‘pure play’ solution that delivers maximum ROI and time-to-value for Finance teams adopting Fabric to support and streamline critical FP&A processes.”
CData’s reputation as a data connectivity leader continues to grow, underscored by its recognition as a Leader in the 2024 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Data Integration. Its Microsoft Fabric Integration Accelerator also features volume-independent pricing, offering predictable costs for enterprises dealing with vast data volumes.
