HR Acuity, the leader in employee relations case management and investigations software, concluded its 2025 Employee Relations Roundtable in Boston, marking a decade of advancing best practices in workplace issue management. The annual gathering brought together leaders from Fortune 500 companies and global enterprises to address complex employee relations challenges before they escalate.
Launched ten years ago as a small peer exchange, the Roundtable has since evolved into the premier forum for enterprise employee relations leaders. Over the years, it has produced influential frameworks now adopted by hundreds of organizations, including standardized investigation timelines, employee aftercare models, and commonly used metrics for evaluating employee relations effectiveness.
“The Employee Relations Roundtable isn’t just a professional event. It’s where real innovation happens in employee relations,” said Deb Muller, Founder and CEO of HR Acuity. “We built this community to give employee relations leaders a trusted space to collaborate on the weight and complexity of their work. Watching it grow and seeing the support leaders offer one another has been one of the most rewarding parts of building HR Acuity.”
The Roundtable’s confidential, small-group setting enables candid conversations rarely possible at large conferences. Participants openly share case challenges, benchmark policies, and test new strategies together—all with a focus on building greater consistency, transparency, and trust within their organizations.
Recognizing Excellence in Employee Relations Leadership
During this year’s event, HR Acuity honored four outstanding employee relations professionals. The 2025 Employee Relations Leader Award was presented to:
- Michele Sommer, OpenText
- Allison Kramer Deeb, AIG
These leaders were recognized for their significant contributions to elevating employee relations as a strategic, people-centered discipline.
The empowER™ Community Award—celebrating members who go above and beyond to strengthen the employee relations community—was awarded to:
- Nathan Singer, Confluent
- Rachel Greer, Yelp
Both recipients have played an integral role in shaping the empowER community by not only seeking insights but consistently offering their own expertise to support peers.
A Growing Thought Leadership Presence
HR Acuity’s decade milestone follows a year of expanded thought leadership. In September, CEO Deb Muller spoke at the LaborVision Forum about essential metrics for employee and labor relations. In October, she presented to CUPA-HR on reimagining employee relations within higher education.
