Nava Benefits has launched HQ, the first AI-powered benefits platform designed to streamline HR workflows, unify quoting, benchmarking, and demographics, and provide instant answers to employee benefits questions. The HQ launch coincides with the close of Nava’s $30M Series C funding round led by Thrive Capital, supporting the company’s mission to make high-quality, affordable healthcare accessible to all Americans.

“American healthcare is broken,” said Brandon Weber, co-founder and CEO of Nava. “Nava was founded to fix a system that overwhelms HR teams and underserves employees. The launch of HQ, the first platform to combine AI with deep benefits expertise, is a true inflection point for the industry. With this funding, we can accelerate our mission and empower HR teams to manage the largest investment behind their people.”

HQ replaces spreadsheets, emails, and disorganized processes with a centralized command center for benefits management. Its real-time contribution modeling allows HR teams to instantly understand how changes impact costs. Heerva Macwan, VP of HR at Hackman Capital Partners, stated, “HQ frees me from day-to-day admin so I can focus on delivering better employee experience.”

All benefits documents are centralized and searchable, while a mobile app provides employees with 24/7 AI-powered support. Lena Bradshaw, VP of HR at Caltrol, notes, “No more digging for answers. HQ gives us instant responses to benefit questions—and saves hours.”

HQ also includes built-in compliance features to flag errors and track deadlines, backed by SOC 2 Type II certification and HIPAA compliance for enterprise-grade security. Matthew Burns, Director of People Operations at Job&Talent, commented, “HQ is everything we love about the Nava partnership, but on-demand.”

The Series C funding round, led by Thrive Capital with participation from Glynn Capital, GV, Quiet Capital, Gaingels, People Tech Partners, Fenwick, Alumni Ventures, and Pascal Ventures, enables Nava to expand into new markets and grow its team of skilled benefits professionals. Nava has experienced rapid growth, serving over 70,000 members with a lifetime NPS of 89 and a 160% YoY logo increase.

“AI is reshaping the way work gets done across every industry, and HR professionals deserve intelligent tools to match the moment,” said Kareem Zaki, co-founder of Nava and partner at Thrive Capital. “Nava is uniquely positioned to lead this transformation and accelerate progress in revolutionizing benefits administration.”

The funding and HQ launch will also support Nava’s AI roadmap, focused on eliminating more busy work for HR teams, employees, and Nava’s service professionals.
