PathosLogos Inc., a Tokyo-based HR technology startup, has announced that its enterprise payroll SaaS, PathosLogos Combosite, is now officially certified as a Workday Global Payroll Connect (GPC) partner. This certification confirms a fully validated integration between Combosite and Workday Human Capital Management (HCM), enabling streamlined payroll operations for global Workday customers operating in Japan.
Combosite is an enterprise-grade payroll solution designed to meet Japan’s complex labor laws and regulatory standards. It is also the first SaaS platform in Japan to receive Workday GPC certification, allowing organizations to connect Workday HCM to a compliant Japanese payroll engine without manual data transfers or custom integrations.
By leveraging PathosLogos, the company’s vendor-neutral HR SaaS data platform, enterprises can also integrate Japan-specific HR tools such as time-tracking and labor-management systems. This creates a centralized, efficient HR ecosystem that supports end-to-end operations for multinational companies navigating the intricacies of Japan’s HR landscape.
PathosLogos entered into a strategic partnership with Workday Japan in March 2025, aimed at simplifying and modernizing global payroll and HR operations.
“We are sincerely grateful for the rapid development of this integration — delivered in less than a year since signing our strategic partnership,” said Chikara Furuichi, Executive President and Country Manager, Workday K.K. “Combining Workday’s secure Global Payroll Connect framework with PathosLogos’ technical expertise allows enterprises to streamline operations such as payroll while strengthening their global HR strategies.”
“We are honored to achieve certification from Workday,” said Masayuki Makino, CEO of PathosLogos. “This milestone reinforces our commitment to delivering enterprise-grade HR and payroll solutions and highlights the global-level reliability of our platform. We look forward to expanding our collaboration with Workday to support modern HR infrastructure for global enterprises.”
