Scrum Alliance has launched Agile for HR, a new on-demand microcredential course designed to help Human Resources teams adopt agile techniques, mindsets, and tools to transform HR functions and drive organizational adaptability.
This course extends agile skills into the HR domain, which plays a critical role in shaping employee experience and leading organizational change. By learning agility, HR professionals are better positioned to build resilient workplaces where employees can thrive and adapt to evolving business needs.
“HR professionals are at the center of organizational change and therefore key partners in every aspect of transformation,” said Tristan Boutros, Chief Executive Officer at Scrum Alliance. “As the pace of change accelerates, organizations need HR to lead with agility. Agile for HR is designed to provide HR teams with the practical tools to foster adaptability and meet evolving workforce demands.”
Course Structure and Benefits
The self-paced course includes six interactive modules that learners can start, pause, and revisit at their convenience. The modules introduce the principles of agility in HR, explore agile practices, and demonstrate how these approaches can improve employee engagement and HR program effectiveness. Real-world case studies are also integrated to show practical applications of agile in workforce management.
Upon purchasing the course, non-members receive a two-year Scrum Alliance membership, which includes benefits such as discounted event registrations and reduced pricing on other on-demand microcredential courses. Every participant who completes Agile for HR will also earn a Scrum Alliance microcredential badge to highlight their newly acquired skills.
Agile for HR is now available online through the Scrum Alliance platform, offering HR professionals an accessible pathway to bring agility into their organizations.
