Career Growth, Collaboration, and Leadership Highlight HRCI’s Organizational Strengths

HRCI, the premier credentialing and learning community for the human resource profession, has once again been recognized as a Top Workplace by The Washington Post. This prestigious honor is based entirely on employee feedback collected through a confidential survey conducted by Energage LLC, a leading employee engagement technology provider. The survey evaluates key aspects of the employee experience, including feeling respected and supported, being enabled to grow, and being empowered to execute.

For more than 50 years, HRCI has set the global benchmark for HR expertise and excellence, consistently advancing the profession and the people within it. Today, over 500,000 HR professionals in 150+ countries hold HRCI certifications—a mark of professional distinction. Through its global certifications, certificate programs, and over 120,000 hours of world-class on-demand learning, HRCI continues to innovate to meet the needs of HR professionals in today’s evolving workplace. The organization also administers organizational certifications aligned with ISO human resources management standards.

The survey highlighted HRCI’s top three organizational strengths:

  • Leaders In-The-Know – Employees believe senior managers understand what is truly happening in the organization (top 5% of all companies surveyed).
  • Cross-Team Cooperation – Staff members feel there is strong interdepartmental collaboration.
  • Supportive Managers – Managers care about employee concerns and actively support their professional growth and success.

Additionally, HRCI ranked in the top 25% of organizations for innovation, employee appreciation, and work-life balance.

Dr. Amy Dufrane, CEO of HRCI, expressed gratitude for the recognition: “Achieving this award for the second year in a row validates our commitment to HR best practices as an industry leader. We’re especially proud of our team, who shared feedback such as ‘we are all treated as important members of the team,’ ‘the camaraderie is off the charts,’ and ‘my work makes a difference to our team, the organization, and our customers.’”

Dufrane added, “It’s empowering to see how our supportive and respectful culture reflects our collaborative, professional, and forward-thinking values.”

Eric Rubino, CEO of Energage, commented, “Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor, especially because it comes authentically from employees. In today’s market, leaders must ensure employees have a voice and are truly heard. Top Workplaces achieve this, and it pays dividends.”
