LumApps and Beekeeper Merge to Create $1B AI-Powered Employee Experience Hub
LumApps, a global leader in next-gen intranet platforms, has announced a definitive agreement to merge with Beekeeper, the top mobile-first platform for frontline teams. Backed by Bridgepoint, the transaction values the combined company at over $1 billion and marks the creation of the first AI-powered Employee Hub — a unified productivity and communication platform for both desk-based and frontline employees.
The combined platform will serve more than 7 million users across 2,000+ clients and generate approximately $150 million in recurring revenue. With a global team of over 600 employees across North America, Europe, and Asia—including a growing presence in Japan—the new entity is poised for rapid expansion. The company is targeting 100 million users by 2030 within a $10 billion total addressable market growing at 15% annually.
While LumApps focuses on AI-driven intranet tools for office teams, Beekeeper specializes in empowering frontline workers in industries like manufacturing, retail, and hospitality. Together, they will offer full workforce coverage and unlock new opportunities for cross-selling, scaled distribution, and innovation acceleration.
This merger positions the LumApps Group as the clear leader in the Intranet Packaged Solutions (IPS) market in terms of revenue, user base, and active licenses. More significantly, it redefines the category to create the first true employee experience platform supporting every worker type.
Having completed four strategic acquisitions since 2021, LumApps continues to prioritize growth through targeted M&A. The merger aligns with key market trends including AI integration, hybrid work models, and digital-first communication.
“Beekeeper has built a game-changing platform for frontline employees worldwide, driving engagement and productivity,” said Sébastien Ricard, CEO and Co-Founder of LumApps. “Together, LumApps and Beekeeper will support all employees, everywhere, in this new age of work.”
“LumApps redefined employee engagement through innovation and AI,” added Cris Grossmann, CEO and Co-Founder of Beekeeper. “This partnership is a bold step toward transforming our industry and supporting employee success at every level.”
“We’re pushing the limits of what an intranet platform can achieve,” said Elie Mélois, Chief Product & Technology Officer and Co-Founder of LumApps. “Our combined innovation will deliver a powerful platform that drives greater empowerment and performance.”
Bridgepoint, which began supporting LumApps in 2024, emphasized its enthusiasm for backing this category-defining merger. “LumApps and Beekeeper bring together two highly complementary platforms, redefining what’s possible in employee experience technology,” said David Nicault and Nadia Cid of Bridgepoint. “With AI-native architecture and global scale, the combined company is positioned to lead this critical market.”
The deal is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to complete in July 2025. LumApps will remain majority owned by funds managed by Bridgepoint.
