Paychex Partners with SoFi at Work to Enhance Employee Financial Wellness Through Paychex Flex® Perks
Paychex, Inc., a leader in human capital management (HCM), has partnered with SoFi to integrate SoFi at Work financial well-being tools into Paychex Flex® Perks. This collaboration allows employees of Paychex clients to seamlessly access a suite of personal finance resources — including personal loans, student loans, refinancing options, and more — directly through Paychex’s curated digital marketplace.
Research highlights the importance of financial tools and guidance in achieving long-term financial independence. According to a recent SoFi survey, the biggest regret among student loan borrowers was not seeking financial advice, with key milestones including becoming debt-free (41%) and home ownership (44%).
“Employees today expect their employer to help support their financial well-being – it’s no longer a ‘nice-to-have’ benefit,” said Cory Mau, Vice President of Corporate Strategy, Business Development, and Investor Relations at Paychex. “Our Paychex Flex Perks partnership with SoFi offers employees access to personal finance benefits at no cost to employers, helping them prepare for the future while driving productivity and retention.”
Paychex Flex Perks is built into Paychex Flex, the company’s cloud-based SaaS HCM platform. Employees can easily enroll in benefits that match their needs, with payroll deduction capabilities and no added cost for employers. Businesses of all sizes can now provide enterprise-level benefits, whether enhancing existing packages or offering employee benefits for the first time.
Since its launch in mid-2024, the marketplace has seen rapid adoption, with more than 230,000 employees purchasing at least one benefit. Its curated selection addresses the needs of today’s five-generation workforce, offering flexibility and personalization in benefits selection.
“Our partnership with Paychex marks a major milestone in SoFi at Work’s mission to help more Americans achieve financial independence,” said Kelli Keough, EVP for Spend, Invest, Protect, and Save at SoFi. “By embedding SoFi’s tools into Paychex, we’re making it easier for companies of all sizes to provide meaningful benefits, helping millions of employees nationwide take greater control of their financial futures.”
Paychex has committed to expanding Paychex Flex Perks with additional offerings based on evolving workforce needs and customer feedback, ensuring businesses can stay competitive in supporting employee well-being.
