Salesforce Drives Employee Engagement by Partnering With Epoch

Epoch, a leading employee experience platform, has been chosen by Salesforce, a global leader in AI-driven customer relationship management (CRM), to enhance its internal engagement strategies. With over 76,000 employees globally, Salesforce partnered with Epoch to drive deeper connection and community within the organization. Currently, 86% of Salesforce employees actively use Epoch to stay informed about internal events and remain connected to company culture and each other.

This collaboration aligns with Epoch’s recent rollout of its Communities feature—an innovation aimed at helping culture leaders manage Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) more effectively.

Addressing Disjointed Engagement Tools

Prior to using Epoch, Salesforce managed internal events through outdated systems and manual spreadsheets. The shift to Epoch enabled seamless integration with commonly used tools such as Slack, allowing employees to RSVP to events with a single click, automatically syncing event details to their calendars. This approach streamlines communication and reduces tool fatigue by meeting employees where they already are.

Centralizing Engagement and Insights

Epoch serves as a central hub for all engagement activities at Salesforce, including town halls, ERG events, volunteer opportunities, and more. With features that allow filtering by event type or location, employees can easily find and register for relevant activities—either via the Epoch web app or directly within Slack.

Beyond managing logistics, Epoch provides Salesforce with rich analytics through its dashboard. Event data such as RSVPs, post-event feedback, and key performance metrics are compiled in real-time. From October to November 2024, Epoch supported the hosting of 1,431 events, drawing 113,491 registrants. This data helps Salesforce optimize future events, allocate resources strategically, and continuously enhance employee engagement outcomes.

“Employee engagement is critical to extend our culture to Salesforce employees worldwide,” said Jeffrey Huang, Director of Employee Engagement and Events at Salesforce. “From improved productivity and job satisfaction to belonging and retention – Epoch is a cornerstone of our employee engagement strategy, and we look forward to driving meaningful employee experiences together.”

Setting a New Standard for Engagement

As culture remains a core value at Salesforce, Epoch’s platform plays a key role in fostering a connected and collaborative workplace. The partnership exemplifies how HR tech can unify and elevate employee experiences at scale.

“At a company where culture is paramount, Epoch is thrilled to help Salesforce foster a more connected and engaged organization, setting a new standard for employee experience,” said Jade Choy, Co-founder and CEO of Epoch.
